Question
The Director Server is installed, but how do I know which database and user is being used?

Answer
The Director Server installer (install anywhere) outputs a file named /<director install>/bin/db-config-ia.cds which contains information including the database driver, database name, and user.

This does not necessarily mean that the installer was successful. If there were issues, such as a bad user or database name, or insufficient creditials to create tables, then the Director will default to the Hypersonic database.
